11 classes plus Winter Water Show, Sunday, December 14 at Waterloo Swimplex.
This program is for swimmers aged 5-7 only who are wanting to try out artistic swimming and the skills that it entails. This program emphasizes fundamental artistic swimming skills and strengthening aquatic skills in a fun and supportive team environment. Swimmers will be divided into groups based on their age and artistic swimming/swimming ability. Swimmers will work on building coordination, strength, stamina, flexibility, and teamwork in and out of the water. Newer swimmers will concentrate on learning fundamental artistic swimming skills. More advanced swimmers will be challenged by coaches who introduce new skills once the basics have been mastered.
Children born in 2018, 2019 or 2020 will be accepted in this class only. All other years, see our general Recreational programs.
